Tony Klimek (Anthony Francis Klimek) was born on November 24, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Schurz (Chicago, IL), Klimek attended the University of Illinois. Klimek made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1951 was Tony Klimek's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
