Born on August 5, 1925 in Dixmoor, Illinois, Tony Jacobs (Anthony Robert Jacobs) played for the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career. Jacobs broke into the bigs on September 19, 1948 with the Chicago Cubs.
