Tony Horton

Tony Horton (Anthony Darrin Horton) was born on December 6, 1944 in Santa Monica, California. He made his Major League debut on July 31, 1964 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1965, his rookie year, he hit .294 with 7 home runs and 23 RBI. Horton played for the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Tony Horton's best season was 1969, when he slugged 27 home runs, hit for a .278 average and knocked in 93 runs.
