Tony Gonzalez to Free Agency?

It's a distinct possibility at the next off season. He and the Chiefs have been trying to work out a new contract but remain far apart on it to this point. Tony states that he wouldn't be surprised if he ended his career with the Chiefs, and he wouldn't be surprised if he ended up elsewhere.

He doesn't have the numbers this year to back up a huge contract demand. He'll find that out pretty quick if he tests the market. The question is whether pride takes him to a crappy team like Oakland or if he comes back to KC with his tail between his legs.
