Tony Gonzalez (Anthony Gonzalez) was born on February 27, 1976 in Torrance, California. After going to high school at Huntington Beach (CA), Gonzalez attended Univeristy of California where he played both football and basketball. Gonzalez made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 10 year career.

Most people believe that 2000 was Tony Gonzalez's best year, as he hauled in 93 receptions, had 1203 receiving yards and caught 9 TD passes.
