Tony Barron (Anthony Dirk Barron) was born on August 17, 1966 in Portland, Oregon. He made his Major League debut on June 2, 1996 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1997, his rookie year, he hit .286 with 4 home runs and 24 RBI. Barron played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 1 year career.
