Tony Alexander Adams MBE is one of the most well remembered players in Arsenal's history. He joined Arsenal as a schoolboy in 1980. His first team debut was made on November 5, 1983 against Sunderland. He served as the club's captain from 1988-2002.
His international career for England spanned the years from 1987 to 2000.
Tony was the Manager for Portsmouth F.C. taking over after Harry Redknapp left for Tottenham Hotspur. However, Adams was eventually sacked on February 9, 2009 after a poor run of results.
