Tony Adams (Anthony Lee Adams) was born on March 19, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas. After going to high school at Ramona (Riverside, CA), Adams attended the University of Texas and Utah State University. Adams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1976 was Tony Adams's best year.
