Tommy Tomlin (John Thomas Tomlin) in Albermarle County, Virginia. Tomlin attended Syracuse University. Tomlin made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Akron Pros. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Hammond Pros and Akron Pros over the course of his 2 year APFA career.Tomlin also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the New York Giants and Milwaukee Badgers over the course of his 3 year NFL career.
