Born on August 6, 1914 in Newport, Kentucky, Tommy Reis (Thomas Edward Reis) played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Braves over the course of his 1 year career. Reis broke into the bigs on April 27, 1938 with the Philadelphia Phillies.
