Tommy Mcdonald (Thomas Franklin McDonald) was born on July 26, 1934 in Roy, New Mexico. After going to high school at Highland (Albuquerque, NM) and Riy (NM), Mcdonald attended the University of Oklahoma. Mcdonald made his professional debut in the NFL in 1957 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1961 was Tommy Mcdonald's best year, as he hauled in 64 receptions, had 1144 receiving yards and caught 13 TD passes.
