Tommy Lyons (Thomas Lewis Lyons) was born on August 7, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia. After going to high school at Georgia Military Academy, Lyons attended the University of Georgia. Lyons made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 6 year career.
