Tommy Gregg (William Thomas Gregg) was born on July 29, 1963 in Boone, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on September 14, 1987 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .243 with 6 home runs and 23 RBI. Gregg played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds and Florida Marlins over the course of his 9 year career.
