Tommy Glaviano (Thomas Giatano Glaviano) was born on October 26, 1923 in Sacramento, California. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1949 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .267 with 6 home runs and 36 RBI. Glaviano played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Tommy Glaviano's best season was 1950, when he hit for a .285 average.
