Tommy Fussell (Thomas Paul Fussell) was born on May 25, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA), Fussell attended Louisiana State University. Fussell made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
