Tommy Brown (Thomas Michael Brown) was born on December 6, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York. He made his Major League debut on August 3, 1944 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. In 1944, his rookie year, he hit .164 with 0 home runs and 8 RBI. Brown played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Tommy Brown's best season was 1952, when he hit for a .302 average.
