Tommy Brooker (William Thomas Brooker) was born on October 31, 1939 in Demopolis, Alabama. After going to high school at Demopolis (AL), Brooker attended the University of Alabama. Brooker made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Dallas Texans. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Texans over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Tommy Brooker's best year.
