Tommy Boutwell (Tom Boutwell) was born on December 31, 1946 in Bluffton, Ohio. After going to high school at Hattiesburg (MS), Boutwell attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. Boutwell made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 1 year career.
