Tom Williams (William Thomas Williams) was born on July 21, 1948 in Hempstead, New York. After going to high school at Rancho Cordova (Sacramento, CA), Williams attended the University of California, Davis. Williams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1970 was Tom Williams's best year.
