Tom Wickert (Thomas Kirk Wickert) was born on April 5, 1952 in Astoria, Oregon. After going to high school at Redwood (Larkspur, CA), Wickert attended Washington State Universtiy. Wickert made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 4 year career.
