Tom Vickery

Born on May 5, 1867 in Milford, Massachusetts, Tom Vickery (Thomas Gill Vickery) played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Colts and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 4 year career. Vickery broke into the bigs on April 21, 1890 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 3.44 ERA in 382 innings pitched in 1890, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Tom Vickery's best season was 1890, when he posted a 3.44 ERA, won 24 games and struck out 162 batters.
