Tom Turnure (Thomas William Turnure) was born on July 9, 1957 in Seattle, Washington. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Seattle, WA), Turnure attended the University of Washington. Turnure made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 6 year career.
