Born on February 12, 1892 in Sparta, Tennessee, Tom Rogers (Thomas Andrew Rogers) played for the St. Louis Browns, Philadelphia Athletics and New York Yankees over the course of his 4 year career. Rogers broke into the bigs on April 14, 1917 with the St. Louis Browns, and put up a 3.89 ERA in 108.2 innings pitched in 1917, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Tom Rogers's best season was 1918, when he posted a 3.27 ERA.
