Tom Roberts (Thomas A. Roberts) was born on April 1, 1916 in New Troy, Michigan. After going to high school at New Troy (MI), Roberts attended Depaul University. Roberts made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the New York Giants. He played for the Chicago Bears and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career.
