Tom Ricketts (Thomas Gordon Ricketts) was born on November 21, 1965 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA), Ricketts attended the University of Pittsburgh. Ricketts made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 5 year career.
