Tom Rafferty (Thomas Michael Rafferty) was born on August 2, 1954 in Syracuse, New York. After going to high school at Manlius (NY), Rafferty attended Pennsylvania State University. Rafferty made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 14 year career.

Most people believe that 1983 was Tom Rafferty's best year.
