Tom Osborne (Thomas William Osborne) was born on February 23, 1937 in Hastings, Nebraska. After going to high school at Hastings (NE), Osborne attended Hastings College. Osborne made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1961 was Tom Osborne's best year.
