Tom Oliver (Thomas Noble Oliver) was born on January 15, 1903 in Montgomery, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1930 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1930, his rookie year, he hit .293 with 0 home runs and 46 RBI. Oliver played for the Boston Red Sox for his entire 4 year career.
