Tom Oberg (Thomas Harvey Oberg) was born on August 7, 1945 in Portland, Oregon. After going to high school at Clackamas (OR), Oberg attended Oregon State University and Portland State University. Oberg made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Tom Oberg's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
