Tom O'Malley (Thomas Patrick O'Malley) was born on December 25, 1960 in Orange, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on May 8, 1982 for the San Francisco Giants. In 1982, his rookie year, he hit .275 with 2 home runs and 27 RBI. O'Malley played for the San Francisco Giants, Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers, Montreal Expos and New York Mets over the course of his 9 year career.
