Tom O'Connor (Thomas L. O'Connor) was born on November 8, 1963 in Patchogue, New York. After going to high school at Medford (NY), O'Connor attended Nassau Community College and the University of South Carolina. O'Connor made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
