Tom Nomina (Thomas John Nomina) was born on December 27, 1941 in Delphos, Ohio. After going to high school at St. John's (Delphos, OH), Nomina attended Miami University of Ohio. Nomina made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Tom Nomina's best year.
