Tom Miner (Thomas Earl Miner) was born on May 14, 1932 in Checotah, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Checotah (OK), Miner attended the University of Tulsa. Miner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
