Tom Michel (William Thomas Michel) was born on December 7, 1940 in Oakland, California. After going to high school at Wakefield (Arlington, VA), Michel attended East Carolina University. Michel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 1 year career.
