Born on September 22, 1927 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Tom Lasorda (Thomas Charles Lasorda) played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Kansas City Athletics over the course of his 3 year career. Lasorda broke into the bigs on August 5, 1954 with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
