Born on April 23, 1895 in Ridgway, Pennsylvania, Tom Knowlson (Thomas Herbert Knowlson) played for the Philadelphia Athletics for his entire 1 year career. Knowlson broke into the bigs on July 3, 1915 with the Philadelphia Athletics, and put up a 3.49 ERA in 100.2 innings pitched in 1915, his rookie year.
