Tom Jelley (Thomas J. Jelley) was born on November 18, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Mount Lebanon (PA), Jelley attended the University of Miami. Jelley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
