Born on April 29, 1947 in Seattle, Washington, Tom House (Thomas Ross House) played for the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 8 year career. House broke into the bigs on June 23, 1971 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 4.68 ERA in 67.1 innings pitched in 1973, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Tom House's best season was 1974, when he posted a 1.93 ERA, notched 11 saves and struck out 64 batters.
