Tom Haller (Thomas Frank Haller) was born on June 23, 1937 in Lockport, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1961 for the San Francisco Giants. In 1962, his rookie year, he hit .261 with 18 home runs and 55 RBI. Haller played for the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Tom Haller's best season was 1966, when he slugged 27 home runs and knocked in 67 runs.
