Born on November 23, 1947 in Thomasville, North Carolina, Tom Hall (Tom Edward Hall) played for the Minnesota Twins, Cincinnati Reds, New York Mets and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 10 year career. Hall broke into the bigs on June 9, 1968 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 3.33 ERA in 140.2 innings pitched in 1969, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Tom Hall's best season was 1970, when he posted a 2.55 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 184 batters.
