Tom Graves (Thomas Edward Graves) was born on December 18, 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia. After going to high school at Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA), Graves attended Michigan State University. Graves made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
