Tom Goodwin (Thomas Jones Goodwin) was born on July 27, 1968 in Fresno, California. He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1991 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1995, his rookie year, he hit .287 with 4 home runs and 28 RBI. Goodwin played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kansas City Royals, Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, San Francisco Giants and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 14 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Tom Goodwin's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2000, when he stole 55 bases and knocked in 58 runs. However, others believe that it was 1996, when he stole 66 bases and hit for a .282 average.
