Tom Goode (Thomas Guinn Goode) was born on December 1, 1938 in West Point, Mississippi. After going to high school at West Point (MS), Goode attended Mississippi State University. Goode made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Houston Oilers. He played in the AFL for 8 years, playing for the Houston Oilers and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 8 year AFL career.Goode also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Baltimore Colts the entire time.
