Tom Gettinger

Tom Gettinger (Lewis Thomas Leyton Gettinger) was born on December 11, 1868 in Frederick, Maryland. He made his Major League debut on September 21, 1889 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1890, his rookie year, he hit .238 with 3 home runs and 30 RBI. Gettinger played for the St. Louis Browns and Louisville Colonels over the course of his 3 year career.
