Tom Fena (Thomas Mitchell Fena) was born on December 27, 1909 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at St. Mary's Prep (Berkeley, CA), Fena attended the University of Denver. Fena made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
