Tom Domres (Thomas Bruce Domres) was born on October 19, 1946 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Gladstone (MI), Domres attended the University of Wisconsin. Domres made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Houston Oilers. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time. Domres also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Denver Broncos and Houston Oilers over the course of his 3 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Tom Domres's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
