Tom Costello (Thomas Francis Costello) was born on May 23, 1941 in Queens, New York. After going to high school at Holy Cross (Queens, NY), Costello attended the University of Dayton and the University of Miami. Costello made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1965 was Tom Costello's best year.
