Tom Cobb (Thomas Cobb) was born on November 29, 1903. After going to high school at Wagoner (OK), Cobb attended St. John's University. Cobb made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Kansas City Cowboys. He played for the Chicago Cardinals, Detroit wolverines, Cleveland Bulldogs and Kansas City Cowboys over the course of his 4 year career.
