Tom Carr (Thomas Winther Carr) was born on April 4, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Overbrook (Philadelphia, PA), Carr attended Morgan State University. Carr made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1 year career.
