Born on April 28, 1960 in Casper, Wyoming, Tom Browning (Thomas Leo Browning) played for the Cincinnati Reds and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 12 year career. Browning broke into the bigs on September 9, 1984 with the Cincinnati Reds, and put up a 3.55 ERA in 261.1 innings pitched in 1985, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Tom Browning's best season was 1985, when he posted a 3.55 ERA, won 20 games and struck out 155 batters.
